We started the month off with Keelan's school band playing at the football game- fun! Keelan went to Milwaukee to spend a weekend with his Aunt Nicole, Uncle Ben, and cousin Ellis! I think they ate lots of cheese curds- hehe! He had a great time there! Our best friends from England- Tammi, Delboy, and their 14 mos. old, Josh, came to visit us!! Grandma Shirley came for a visit too for Halloween! Ayden dressed as a non scary grim reaper, Thira was a fancy lady bug, and Keelan was a mop head (b/c the eigthgraders call him that (go figure- haha))! Keelan was also crowned "prince" at the school masquerade ball! Thira cracked us up a lot this month! She started singing all by herself to a Christmas song! During the "falalalala" part she flipped her tongue while making a singing sound- haha! When she would drive by this one house with Halloween decor. each time she would say "oohhh" or a long drawn out -"wow"! She pretends to be sleeping by making a fake snoring sound. She yells "baby" over and over when she sees the neighbors car (their baby is usually in it) or as she heads by herself to their front door. She tried to climb a tree, says "eww" when she sees a bug or dirt, says "boo boo" or "owie" when she gets an ouchie, and tells people to (c) "mon" while motioning her hand to come where she wants you to. She unloads the dishwasher by handing you silverware and telling us "thank you" after handing us each piece. She is an absolute pro on her riding toys manuevering wherever she wants to go and fast and also down hills by herself! She loves her sit and spin toy. And she also discovered coloring all over walls and furniture this month! :) She prefers to call Keelan "Kiki" and will try to say any word you want her to!
